I had a good time staying here! The staff genuinely welcomed me, making me feel like family. The cleanliness and cozy atmosphere truly stood out. However, the photos I saw looked much nicer than the actual space.

Big hype, little substance
I was greeted with a broken room and a dismal atmosphere. There was trash everywhere, and the smell was unbearable, resembling burnt plastic. People loitered outside, and my room was filthy—no towels, no toilet paper, and cigarette burns on furniture. It feels less like a hotel and more like a desperate last resort.

The bed was comfortable during our stay.
My experience here was extremely frustrating. We faced numerous maintenance issues including a non-working heater and leaking sink while trying to prepare dinner. Additionally, staff unprofessionalism added to our discontent, especially when we lost power and were told to check other rooms ourselves. The refund process was unclear and disappointing, compounding our already negative experience. I truly expected better.

Target audience needs a couple of nights
Had a good time with the staff, made me feel like they really cared, especially at night with two employees who were just awesome. Was funny and light-hearted during check-in, like they wanted to make it work, so it was refreshing to see that kind of spirit.
It wasn’t exactly dirt cheap, but you know, it wasn't too bad either.

We enjoyed visiting the nearby parks, especially the one with beautiful trails. My kids loved exploring the area, and it was a nice break from the hustle of the city. The spacious room suited our family well.
My kids wished there had been better kitchen supplies to make simple meals. it would have helped save time and kept everyone happy.

We explored two awesome spots nearby—some great hiking trails and a local brewery. The place is comfy with all the necessary amenities, perfect for a group getaway. Just to note, bring your own towels, as they have a towel exchange. Overall, a fun trip we won't forget!
One thing to improve is the cleanliness. we noticed some areas that could use a proper clean-up. It wasn't a major issue for us, but it's something the staff could work on.

some potential, but serious clean-up needed
The room had a comfortable bed and a decent layout that allowed for easy movement. I appreciated the kitchenette, which offered flexibility for meals. There are good parking options available. I also found a great nearby brewery that added to my stay.
One area for improvement is the cleanliness. there were hairs in the bathroom and on the sheets.

The stay at Hometowne Studios was comfortable enough for what I needed. The room had a nice kitchenette, which allowed me to make my own meals. I really appreciated having the ability to save some money on dining by cooking. The location felt safe, and I even enjoyed a couple of nice walks in the area. However, the cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathroom needed a thorough clean, with some stains lingering around. The towels were not replaced during my stay, which was inconvenient—especially after using them for several days. Overall, this place had potential, but a deep clean and consistent housekeeping could make a huge difference.
